Frank Lamy et Nathalie de Blois, les commissaires de l’exposition, «Emporte-moi / Sweep me off my feet», déclarent : « le thème pourrait sembler à première vue léger(…), mais sa richesse est insoupçonnée. Les émotions liées au transport amoureux sont d’une complexité infinie ». Ainsi, l’approche de l’exposition tourne volontairement le dos à l’ironie pour montrer la façon dont les artistes contemporains poursuivent leurs investigations des figures imposées du langage amoureux ; réinterprétées avec force, elles oscillent sans cesse entre enchantement et anéantissement.
La saison des amours démarre le 7 mai au MAC/VAL !
